> 3 dayIt works as a thermal paste and its the old school spread application, it dropped about 8 degrees from Arctic Ceramique 2 - expensive for the volume though

> 3 dayArrived really dry and was caked in the tube when I tried to apply it. Scraper also is quite useless in applying the thermal paste. It bends too easily.

> 3 dayI have an older acer nitro 5 (an515-51) which used to run at a blistering 96 C and throttle when gaming, I used throttles top and undervolted and it helped a little but Id still reach peak temps. Finally got this thermal paste, repasted and voila. 70 C peaks and perfectly playable gameplay even in games that were unplayable before due to throttling. This with room temps over 30C. Lets see how this holds up, but very happy for now.

> 3 dayOnly if you are overclocking, my 7600k didnt see any change @ 4.8Ghz and 1.27 v the cores maxed at 85C during stress test that didnt change with this paste but the 4.9Ghz @ 1.3 v overclock which got my cpu to 90C during stress test now sits at 86 C during stress test, normal gaming sits at 75 to 78C. You might see better difference with a better cooler mine is a hyper 212x. I am happy with That gain but cost is very high for what you get, so if youre trying to push the limits go for it, youll get atmost 3 applications for a lga 1151 cpu. Its not worth buying over something like the noctua NTH1 or NTH2 for most people since the difference is small and price is very high.

> 3 dayI have an Alienware 15 r3 laptops. Theyre kind of notorious for running hot out of the box, and mine was no exception. I bought a laptop cooler for mine and WITH the cooler, long gaming sessions saw me occasionally hitting 100C, my processor just barely avoiding thermal throttling by a few decimals worth of a degree.

> 3 dayMy Vega 64 was constantly hitting 85 degrees under load and immediately throttling. Anyone with a blower model card learns quickly why the fan generally doesnt exceed 50% in the settings. Anything over sounds like a jet engine in your case!

> 3 dayThere is no better non-conductive thermal compound out there. Easy to apply with either the innovative screw on rubber spatula applicator (comes with two) or with one of those tiny plastic applicator spatulas to get it spread super thin and evenly across the entire die. Ive never trusted luck to spread a pea sized dot of compound evenly. My temps dropped about 10C over the next best paste applied. The only number that matters when you are shopping for a compound is the Thermal Conductivity and Kryonaut comes in at a whopping 12.5 wm/k. Sure it costs a few dollars more, but it is worth every penny. I game on my i7 6700K overclocked to 4.6GHz at 40C with a little Artic liquid freezer 120 water cooler in near silence. The fans never need to ramp up in speed. I have overclocked the FX 4300 to 4.5GHz and dont get above 38C with a Zalman CNPS8900 and some VLP DDR. I loved my first 1.5ml tube so much (built about 6 systems off that one tube) I knew I would never use another compound so I bought the large size this time. Most coolers ship with inadequate 4 wm/k or at best 8 wm/k paste. Wipe it off and get your moneys worth by applying the best and watch your temperatures plummet. Game cooler and youll be able to leave the headphones off because you can hear whats creeping up on you instead of your cooling fans desperately trying to keep your gear cool.
