> 3 dayBought three of these after my family all contracted Covid at a 5-person Christmas with people who were supposed to be in our safety bubble, but I digress. They work right out of the box and were in line with the temp checks we got at urgent care and follow up testing. It was comforting to have it on hand, and to have one for each person so we didnt have to share. I probably checked my temp 5-6 times a day during the whole ordeal and it did vary, some of these digital models always say 98.6 no matter what, but these did register a low grade (but not clinically defined) fever (<104 but >99) the two days that I had a little spike. I had a tote bag I used to bring stuff downstairs during the day (b/c trust me, no way in hell are you even moving, much less climbing stairs with Covid if you help it) and this little guy was in my bag at all times with my pulse oximeter, chapstick, tissues, and ibuprofen/tylenol. Not to get political, but the virus IS real, it is NOT just the flu, and I hope no one reading this has it or gets it. Wash your hands, wear your masks, and get your vaccines as soon as you qualify. In the meantime, its good to have a thermometer on hand and this one fits the bill.

> 3 dayThis device seems easy enough to use. You do need to wait until it registers the word LO before sticking it in your mouth. There was no instruction manual provided, just a one sentence usage on the box (so save the box). The tones are very quiet. If you have any other sounds going on, you wont hear it. That said, at least it does have tones; my previous thermometer didnt. The reading really is quick and it seems accurate, even though I have no way to actually measure the accuracy in a scientific way. There are no odd seams on the outside that some thermometers seem to have, so overall, this is a good thermometer thats just a bit quieter than it should be.

> 3 dayWorks as it should. Update- I’ve had a chance to use this a lot. It works well and has held up. Very happy. I like some people on here didn’t read the product information written in Amazon so when I saw Lo F I thought it was low battery. Apparently it ISNT LOWN BATTERY. The product information/description written in Amazon clearly states that when you see that, that’s when you start ur reading to get must accurate reading. I have NEVER seen a thermometer do that before a reading so naturally I thought “oh great the battery is going”. It ISN’T. READ THE INFORMATION ON THE SITE. I only realized this because I came back to Amazon to see how to change the battery as the top is extremely hard to pry off. Not sure if I will be able to open it without damaging it.

> 3 dayWhen I caught COVID, I was off work for two weeks and my employer required me to monitor my temperature on a daily basis. All I could find in my home was one of those old school glass thermometers. This one is easy to use, seems pretty accurate, and easy read display. My only knock is that the battery life on it is pretty short. About 4 months of not using it at all, the low battery indicator was flashing. I took it apart to replace the battery, and its some crazy size I had to special order. Overall, good product!
