These nail clippers are great for trimming thick, difficult toe nails. I usually have to trim my toe nails after showering when they have softened but these clippers are sharp enough that even when dry, they cut and dont splinter the nail. Because they are larger than the clippers Ive been using, I have to be very careful not to get any skin inside the cutting area. The clippers provide great leverage and cut easily and cleanly without needing to be squeezed hard. I didnt know why one of the clippers had a sliding, notched cover but later realized that it is there to catch toenail clippings. I havent used all of the pieces but everything appears well made. The set comes in a nice metal box with areas for each of the clippers. The four accessories come in a little pouch. It would have been nice if there was a place specifically for them in the box. There was some blue protective film on some of the pieces but it was easily removed.

Overall, this is a really nice and sturdy nail clipper set. The different pieces seem to be well constructed, and feel heavy in the hand: this is probably not a true guarantee of quality, but the whole set certainly does not feel cheap - on the contrary. The pieces fit nicely (and very tightly!) inside the case, with the exception of the 4 accessories (nail file, ...etc), which are separated and in a pouch (I have to admit I havent used those yet). The nail clippers are VERY sharp, and I am pretty happy about how they perform. Highly recommended!!!

We fit the demographic for these clippers as both my husband and I have issues with our toenails. This set is super sturdy and well made. You will have all the tools you need to tackle ingrown nails and to keep your toenails tidy. It seriously looks like something you would find at a doctors office - professional!

This was a gift for my husband. He loves it for his nails are thick and hard. Its the first set he has liked because they are heavy duty and sharp. I highly recommend this product and feel it will be of good quality for many years to come.

These are a must have if u have very thick toe nails. Regular clippers do not fit around my toenails. These do and I love them. They cut thru my toenails like butter lol

This is a formidable set of what look like torture implements. I want to use them on my toes, but I am literally afraid to get to work since I have no idea the right way to use some of these tortuous looking tools. I will see what I can find on the internet.

We have cheap clippers all over our house and a few pairs of larger toenail clippers but they arent that sharp and kind of scare me trying to clip my toenails with them so I use my one pair of high quality fingernail clippers but its a struggle. I was very impressed with the weight of this set when they arrived. They also come with a good instruction booklet, which is helpful when you wonder why the clippers arent spring loaded - you just have to set the piece that makes them springy. I had just given myself a pedicure (using not very good clippers) so I had to test these on a torn thumbnail. Wow. Good control with all the clippers and I tried out the file as well. I am not easy to impress and I recommend this set.

This set is very sturdy and heavy. When I got the box I couldnt believe how heavy it was. They work very good and you must be careful they are very sharp. My sister has bad toe nails from her diabetes and they grow in weird directions and are thick. These worked perfectly Im very satisfied
