Eye specialist told me Zinc is the most important nutrient to take for AMD and slows the progression more than other nutrients, and that I should be taking double the recommended amount. I heard 40 or 50 mg is toxic if you keep taking zinc, and if that is true, this 30 is a bit high, i will try their lower dose next time instead of doing this one every 2 days. This kind of zinc, picolonate is the only kind i will get in the future unless i see new info.
