As a vegan for the past few years, its important to supplement routinely with key vitamins (e.g., B12) and minerals one cannot get simply through plants. The benefits of zinc cannot be understated: in addition to boosting immunity, it also helps with thyroid and sexual function, among other things. Thornes zinc supplements are clearly of high purity and efficacy, and their zinc is readily absorbed. I wouldnt trust another brand.
