> 24 hourI got this for my four year old, I love the dome shape so she is less likely to know stuff over or poke out eyes. The snap together strap to hold it closed works well. To open the white piece slides up until it goes over a spring piece that pops out and hold it in place. To release you have to push up and push the piece back in, my four year old has some trouble with this but is getting the hang of it. It is very cute and does a good job keeping my child entertained and dry, well her head is dry.

> 24 hourOur six year old had an opportunity to try this out shortly after it arrived, and to our surprise we saw that some of his classmates had the exact same umbrella. Great minds think alike, right? This is an excellent umbrella for youngsters, with thoughtful features through. The addition of round plastic knobs covering up any potentially pointy bits was a clever addition to prevent accidental injuries from carelessness of horseplay. It’s also quite sturdy when deployed, so it’s unlike to fold inside out like some umbrellas do in heavy winds. Because it’s made of thick plastic rather than fabric, it holds up fine under the heaviest downpours (including standing directly under one of our gutter spouts…), though as a result it is loud under the dome of the umbrella. The only feature our little one struggles with is the top spring and runner used to open/close the umbrella. It takes a tiny bit of muscle and manual dexterity to open the umbrella, and he’s a bit nervous about it springing closed suddenly when he tried to close it himself. That said, this top spring and runner system isn’t a deal-breaker by any means. This is a perfectly functional umbrella for youngsters… though it’s proven big enough for the adults in our household on a couple of occasions, too!

> 24 hourI love see-through umbrellas because they don’t impair your view of traffic. That can be very important for kids. It’s a nice size for toddlers and kids, maybe preteens too. It opens and closes pretty easily and seems well-made. Nice buy! My four-year-old son loves taking it for rain walks and I’m a little jealous…

> 24 hourThis umbrella is unique and stylish. My daughter really likes it. You can fit only one person underneath, so not an umbrella you can share. Cool clear umbrella for sure! Easy to retract as well.

> 24 hourThis is really cute for my daughter, who is almost 3 years old. Easy to hold, and I really like how concave it is so that she can cover most of her body from the rain. Highly recommend, good value!

> 24 hourthis covers my 3year old it keeps her dry up to legs because of the bigger curve. even when the wind is strong, the umbrella can still protect regardless of the angle of the rain. I like that it is clear, even if the umbrella is close to the head, my daughter still sees the road because of the clear plastic. the open mechanism feels sturdy and the plastic where you open the umbrella will keep fingers from getting stuck. And it is not too heavy for a kid.

> 24 hourI like the design and the shape of the umbrella. The clear color provide more visibility. I do expect the quality to be better though. The string attachment was not install properly. When I open the umbrella, the rib does not line up. It is always off.
