> 24 hourthis covers my 3year old it keeps her dry up to legs because of the bigger curve. even when the wind is strong, the umbrella can still protect regardless of the angle of the rain. I like that it is clear, even if the umbrella is close to the head, my daughter still sees the road because of the clear plastic. the open mechanism feels sturdy and the plastic where you open the umbrella will keep fingers from getting stuck. And it is not too heavy for a kid.

> 24 hourOur six year old had an opportunity to try this out shortly after it arrived, and to our surprise we saw that some of his classmates had the exact same umbrella. Great minds think alike, right? This is an excellent umbrella for youngsters, with thoughtful features through. The addition of round plastic knobs covering up any potentially pointy bits was a clever addition to prevent accidental injuries from carelessness of horseplay. It’s also quite sturdy when deployed, so it’s unlike to fold inside out like some umbrellas do in heavy winds. Because it’s made of thick plastic rather than fabric, it holds up fine under the heaviest downpours (including standing directly under one of our gutter spouts…), though as a result it is loud under the dome of the umbrella. The only feature our little one struggles with is the top spring and runner used to open/close the umbrella. It takes a tiny bit of muscle and manual dexterity to open the umbrella, and he’s a bit nervous about it springing closed suddenly when he tried to close it himself. That said, this top spring and runner system isn’t a deal-breaker by any means. This is a perfectly functional umbrella for youngsters… though it’s proven big enough for the adults in our household on a couple of occasions, too!

> 24 hourMy daughter was so excited to get this. Its easy to open and close. The transparent material makes it fun to see the rain through it, and the dotted design is adorable.

> 24 hourMy kids love this umbrella... very anime looking. The slide system used to open it up is a little tough for our 5 year old to do on his own, so be prepared to help with folding and unfolding this umbrella.

> 24 hourThis is really cute for my daughter, who is almost 3 years old. Easy to hold, and I really like how concave it is so that she can cover most of her body from the rain. Highly recommend, good value!

> 24 hourthis Open and closes easily without wanting to close on its own which is nice. the catch used for opening and closing has a plastic cover to hold so even my 5yr can do it without pinched fingers, which means there are able to use it without much help from me. the plastic is durable and makes a nice, rounded shape when open but closes down to the size of other flatter umbrellas.
