I used to use separate shrink wrap to finish my wire connections, but that involved keeping a supply of wrap of various sizes and adding another step to the process. These connectors take care of that and even add another layer of protection - waterproofing.

This is a good kit for easy wire splicing. Also seals very well. Priced affordably.

Used a similar product. These seem to work as well if not better on the shrink capability.

To hard to crimp without breaking heat shrink

I have purchased similar connectors at a higher price from other suppliers for years. These look justblike the more expensive crimp connectors I have used previously but these arent of the same quality. I wont be purchasing these once they are used up. Using the same crimp tools these dont seem to grip the wire as good as others. Normally once crimped I give the wire a quick pull to make sure the connector is secure before the heat shrink has heat applied. In quite a few cases the wire pulled right out of the connector. I went and grabbed some of the other suppliers connectors and used the same crimper and wire without any issues. Attempts to over-crimp didnt help. The metal used in these connectors doesnt seem to squish and grip like higher quality parts do. The heat shrink was decent but not great. The positives are the purchase price is low and the divided container is decent.

This product is so easy to use worked great for my boats stereo(Tip) I highly recommend buying a set of professional wire crimpers not the cheap ones that come on a everyday wire strippers..
