Wow, this is the best dye ever! I found some clothes in the dumpster and there was a stain in some pants, and I couldn’t get them out! Was so upset about my dumpster pants with the red stain right on the crotch (women’s pants), I don’t even know what that person was doing with these pants but I really couldn’t get it out. So to preserve the pants, I decided to tye dye them. But where on earth would I find my solution?! DA DADA DAAAAA! THIS PRODUCT TO THE RESCUE!!! It turned my red butt stained pants into magic miracle retro pants that look like a peanut butter and jam sandwich threw up on them! IM OBSESSED!!

I used to make Tie Dye years ago, the complicated way: presoak the cloth in soda ash water, add dye and several other ingredients into a small plastic bottle, making sure your measurements are accurate. Hurrah! Now all the hard part is done. Each bottle comes pre-filled with all the ingredients needed to start the fun. Just add water. The dye lasted longer than I thought it would. The color is not as bright as professional tie dyes, but this kit is great if you want to hold a simple Tie Dye party.

This was a lot of fun. We did about 10 items from hoodie size down to a kids shirts and still have a lot left. We didnt do them super dark though.

This kit is great for beginners. The powder is already in the bottle, so no worries about spilling the powder all over the place. It is very easy to mix & use. I used all but 3 colors (black, brown & dk. blue). The colors DO fade after washing. Maybe soaking items in soda ash (doesnt come with kit & states soda ash isnt necessary) before dying & letting them cure longer? Id say for kids this is good & the bottles are a nice size. I did 3 adult shirts & 2 adult ponchos & had some of the colors left over. I will stick with using Procion dye.

The dye bled through everything and did not dye as many shirts as stated it would. Otherwise my daughter had fun being creative even if the shirts look funny.

It was a great kit. It was easy and fun to use and do. Will purchase in future!

i did the project with my 7 year old- he loved it. only advice, make sure you pre-wash any new t-shirts , otherwise the colours will come out very pale after the first wash . for retaining the brightness of the colours even more, you can rinse the tie - dyed t-shirts in table vinegar solution after they “ incubate “ overnight but before they are washed for the first time .

Loved this tie dye kit! It was very easy to use and turned out to be a lot of fun. Our family had a great time! Kids had a great time making tie dye shirts. The colors were all very pigmented and it was very easy to us! The kit came with the tie dye bottles, plastic gloves, rubber bands, and a guide book. I will definitely buy again!

This is great value for the money compared to brands I have bought in person. The colors came out nice and vibrant! So, so convenient to buy on Amazon. We had a great time using this. The bag of gloves in photo is NOT from this product- my family does a lot of crafts so we bought our own gloves, lol! Gloves that came with kit are the thin gloves that come with most tie dye kits. I’d assume they are fine.
