Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade 111 x 3/4, 3TPI

> 3 dayI purchased this blade because I had a few white oak logs given to me and wanted to slab them up to dry. This blade didn’t work well at all for wet wood , my 16$ Olson blade did way better. I thought it was junk but upon inspection the blade seems to be still really sharp so I had a 6x6 old red oak beam and it cut it like butter. So I think it’s good for dry wood but not wet .

> 3 dayThe blade cuts nicely but, the weld is not good. I called Woodcraft who sells them and the manager said he has a couple just like mine. They make a noise every time the weld of the blade passes the guide in the new saw. The blade also moves forward and backward on the wheel itself. Doesn’t look very safe to me. It doesn’t wobble but the movement is strange. I have ran a band saw for 30 years everyday for work. This blade is not right.

> 3 dayAfter finding a nail in some reclaimed 6x6 with my previous 1/2 blade, I put on this 3/4 blade from Timber Wolf. Man this thing hogged through that 6x6 pressure treated lumber without slowing and held a much straighter cut than I was getting with my 1/2. This blade is at the max of what my 1 1/2hp saw can take but has worked splendidly so far. I give 4 stars only because I havent resawed enough to know it holds its sharpness not because of a shortcoming on the blade. After I do a bunch more cutting, I will edit my review.

> 3 dayUsed this for about a month. Not impressed. After reading the positive reviews I thought it would be a great blade for resawing, however after only a few successful cuts, it started burning its way through the cuts rather than the nice smooth cuts it was supposed to be good at. Over all Im just disappointed in this purchase. I recently purchased a different blade (1/2 instead of 3/4 like this one) from a different brand that specified resaw and it was very impressive. Sliced through 5 1/2 white oak that was 30 long like it was on a summer vacation. Much better than this one. Maybe I just got a bad blade? Whatever the case, Ill be looking elsewhere for my blades.

> 3 dayEvery blade has its application, its not a fine resew blade, 3/32 kerf, but cuts like a laser. I just resawed 450 LF of 6 walnut and its still going strong. Will rip 2 Oak as fast as you can feed it. Using it on a Hitachi B600 with a 5HP motor, very pleased

Greater than one weekI used this blade to resaw 2 x 8 cherry. Following the recommendation for blade tensioning and blade lubrication, I had excellent results - cut about 100 linear feet of cherry with blade staying cool and sharp.
