Being a frugal (cheap) person, Ive been using the blade that came with my Grizzly 14 bandsaw for several years now. It has always been adequate, nothing more, nothing less. But I got frustrated with the old blade and as it got older and and started to burn the wood, I finally decided to upgrade. Wow... I installed this Timber Wolf blade and I was just astounded how much better this saw was. It cuts faster, smoother and makes tight cuts easy. If I had known what a difference this would be, I would bought this blade as soon as I bought the saw. Make your life better, buy this blade.

6/11/27: best blade - even after over a month of heavy use (pine), is still cuts better than a brand new standard blade from the hardware store. 5/3/17: Sharp, cuts fast. Wide kerf thanks to the set (about 1/16), but somehow it just whisks through without much resistance. Far better than the $12 blades I was buying from the hardware store...I guess that surprised me, becuase I always assumed that a blade was a blade. Broke one blade at the weld after a week - Possibly a defective blade. Seller Refunded and offered replacement - great customer service! Ill keep buying from this seller.

I realize that factory/stock blades arent any good, but the one on my Porter-Cable 14 bandsaw was doing okay for me with softer woods like poplar. I finally had to cut some 5/4 Soft Maple, and that was where it just wouldnt continue any more. I purchased this Timber Wolf blade based on the reviews Ive read, and to be honest I didnt truly think it would be THAT good over the old one. Boy was I wrong. This blade sliced through the Soft Maple like it was butter. It cut very cleanly, didnt wander and is much quieter while cutting. I also cut some poplar to give me a true comparison with the old blade and the difference was still night and day. When I need a different size or to replace this one when it wears out, the next blade I buy will be a Timber Wolf.

I am a novice at using the band saw and this was my 1st blade purchase, so take this review for what it is worth.. The blade cuts well, but the weld on the blade causes a small vibration. I had dressed the back of the blade with a stone and now is is much better. I guess I had expected better with the reviews I had read on this brand of blade.

As a custom wood worker, I try to keep costs to my clientele down as much as possible(treat others, as I like to be treated).Timber Wolf has developed a band-saw blade, that requires less tension, last much longer & out performs any other steel- wood cutting blade- when I reviewed the recommend installation procedure I honestly was a bit skeptical, but following the directions on the packaging(and taking time to inspect my saw- the tires, using Cool Blocks for guide blocks, insuring proper tracking)I was very pleased w/ the cuts, the longevity as well as the cost. The teeth have a very hard temper, the rib is very sturdy-all in all this produces a high quality, long lasting, easy on my saw(due to less tension & less heat produced)@ a very cost efficient, smooth cutting blade.I use the 3/4 for re-saw the 1/2 & 3/8 will re-saw, but I work w/ some twisted grain & Im a bit old school- a very good blade @ a very good price

I honestly haven’t had it long enough to speak from experience to longevity - but this blade has definitely been very well made and I have little doubt it should last a good long time. The obviously solid, precision craftsmanship employed in the making of this tool makes for fast, clean, smooth and quiet cuts - even in tight curves. I should have gone Timberwolf years ago. I have put a solid 4 hours on it cutting solid guitar bodies out of mahogany, alder, and one out of black walnut - and the Timberwolf blade has outperformed my expectations in every case - definitely lives up to all the rave reviews I read prior to purchase. Cuts so good I was running random scraps through the saw for the last 15 minutes just for the fun of it. Extremely pleased with the purchase, shipping was ridiculously fast - quicker than advertised by 2 days. Look forward to buying 2 more Timberwolf blades (a 1/2” and a 3/4”) in the next few days - and I wouldn’t think of buying them from any other seller...period. A+++. Stop reading reviews - just buy this blade. You won’t regret it for a single second.

I bought this Timber Wolf saw blade for my Porter Cable 14 inch band saw. I heard from several sources that Timber Wolf blades are regarded by many woodworkers as one of the best band saw blades on the market today. I bought the 1/4 inch blade for making tight turning cuts. It cuts very smoothly and does a great job. It far exceeds my expectations. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. I am very pleased with my purchase. I plan on purchasing more Timber Wolf band saw blades from this company in the future.

This blade works beyond my expectations. I bought a 1/4 inch blade for close work but tried it for re-sawing and it worked faultlessly. Previously used a 3/4 blade for that and this equals or betters that. The cut side is much smoother (it is a bandsaw though) than other blades Ive used. Just broke it after almost 2 years while re-sawing hard maple, it was getting dull anyway.

This blade is a very nice blade. Cuts well. Especially liked the tensioning instructions that some with the Timber Wolf blades.
