This screen is extremely sturdy, and is made of high quality stainless steel, however I cant think of a single situation where it would be usable. It came rolled up in a 4 diameter box, and it is nearly impossible to get it to unroll, much less lie completely flat. I bought it to cover the refrigerator vent on my rv to keep wasps from making their home behind my frig. The images in the ad for this product all show it laying flat. There is no hint whatsoever that it is shipped rolled up. Wherever you try to flatten it, it kinks. Even if Im able to make this work, its going to be a half fast looking job.

Wish they would have shipped it flat, been clamping it down for a week now trying to get it flat

The good... The wire mesh is shipped rolled in a cardboard box. It appears to be well constructed and made of the right material. The Bad... the real dimensions are 23.5 x 11.75 - - - This company is stealing from everyone they sell this product to by shorting them on the material they paid for. I added photos of the actual size of the product.

The mesh is a very high-quality piece however, it is rolled very tightly for shipping. I worked it in my vice to straighten it. Placed a board with weights on top, in an effort to get this to lay flat and will hammer it a bit. It will be flatter, but certainly not as pictured. Not sure why this company chooses to roll versus ship flat! A few Band-Aids later, due to the sharp edges, I will make due but do not purchase if you need a perfectly flat piece.

Ordered this to make a shell sifter for our vacation. Low and behold they came rolled up tightly rendering them useless to make my project. Will have to look elsewhere. Thinking it was going to be a quick project turned into a headache.

I used this on an RV air conditioner cover to keep wasp out. I cut it to fit with tin snips and used a waxed lacing twine to secure it to the inside of the plastic shroud. Regular screen wire is too air movement restrictive for that purpose, this is 1/8 hardware cloth.....the RV industry doesnt offer a kit for this purpose.

If you need it for a project and you need exactly 12 wide then this wont work. It is 1/8 short, which to beekeepers would let the bees through. Also the length is supposed to be 24 long but it is 23 1/2!!! I feel cheated and I paid good money for this. Not able to use if for my project!!!
