We trimmed and used these on our rv water heater to keep bugs out. It was easy to trim with metal cutters.

Needed a new fire put “spark lid”. The original one totally rotted in like 6 months as expected I guess. When shopping for a new one, I couldn’t believe they cost over $100 for the one I need. Almost half of what I paid for the entire fire pit! This mesh is the PERFECT SOLUTION! For like $12 or whatever it was, I bent it to make a nice convex shape and it works unbelievably perfect! Make sure to wear gloves and have a good set of tin snips because it’s sharp and heavy duty…you aren’t cutting this with normal scissors. I’m super impressed. Minimal time and effort with huge savings over a new lid!!!
