great value, premium memory

Upgraded a computer.this memory worked very well.

As mentioned on Reddit, the MSI series are not exactly PnP when it comes to XMP clocked RAM - and many spend extra $$$ on the non-Hynix and non-Samsung chip RAM hoping for a bargain to kick up from the DDR4-2666 as shipped. I too, an normally a Crucial customer. But in this case, I heeded the group advice and found this 64GB set CL22 DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 on Hynix silicon. Swapped in, booted up, and presto - 3200MHz RAM! No fuss with over-voltage tweaking or finding the Advanced RAM BIOS parameters that work to get other brands to even show up as 2922 MHz. This just works, and the benches do show a moderate boost in decreased paging, and a little more umph to the shared graphics RAM portion. Worth it? I wouldnt if you havent already been running out of RAM at 32GB, but if you do run the higher RAM consuming stuff, this is your magic silicon that runs full speed at v1.2V.

I purchased these sticks before and put them in a 64 bit Dell computer which worked well and it yielded the 8 gigs, so I purchased these same sticks again for a 32 bit Dell machine and after install, the screen said only 4 gigs. I researched why and the techies said 32 bit machines cant read over 4 gig. Lesson learned. All wasnt lost though, I put one of the sticks in another machine that had only 1 gig and now it has 4 gigs and doesnt bog down anymore.
