I replace a couple of bearings on my bandsaw the went bad. These were a perfect replacement fit. No problems or issues with these bearings whatsoever. They seem to be holding up well.

Used these to replace original bearings on a harbor freight bench grinder that wore out after several years of use. I have used Timken bearings on many things with good results. These bearings however are getting noisy after less than an hours use. They sound like a dry bearing with little or no grease in them. I am going to have to replace them with a different brand.

I have a 30 year old Jet JBS 14CS bandsaw and the upper wheel bearings were shot. I removed the old bearings which were “open bearings” meaning the ball bearings are exposed and taped these new Timken bearings in place (see the photos). Easy fix for me, the Timkens worked great, eliminated the worn bearing noise and my saw blade tracks much smoother. I had the proper tools to pull the old bearings - you might need those as well depending on your circumstances and application. Hope that helps!

Had to replace the first install. Pressed against outer race. Used correct size tube , pressed in inner race only, on replacement resolved issue.
