Im a beginner DJ and recently just purchased a Mackie Mix 5. Since this mixer mostly has 1/4 inputs which I only had RCA to XLR (male) cables, I needed something thatll be compatible to connect to main outs for sound and thats when I came across this product. Was able to plug everything in to test it out and it worked perfectly, saved me time & money from investing in more unnecessary cables... very satisfied
