Works fine if you just want to plug it into the HDMI on your TV/monitor, but when going through my elgato, the sound is awful, terribly distorted. Tried googling solutions and just found other people with the same problem, but no solution. If you intend to use it for streaming with an elgato, would not recommend.

You just never know about these things till you try them. Was skeptical, but works perfectly. Love our old Wii and was happy we could get it to work with the new TV.

I was having issues connecting my old wii to my new TV. I tried a few other connections that didnt work. Got this, hooked it up, rebooted and boom, on it came. So easy to connect.

Simple, small, does it’s job well. But don’t think you are gonna get crisp graphics from a gaming system built in 2006, based on the GameCube, a console built in 2001. On my 4K TV I see a fair amount of rough edges and textures. No input lag from the Wii remotes thankfully

I was excited to finally setup my wii with my new Samsung tv. I picked up this converter to make it work with my HDMI tv. Unfortunately the video only works on the main menu. once you select a game it shuts down and will not display video. Didnt work for me!

It works and it’s cheap. I’m happy.
