> 24 hourEasy to crimp. After I crimp the connection, I drill a 1/8” hole on the other side and then fill it with solder. Next is shrink wrap. The connection will not pull out because of the solder

> 24 hourCan’t go wrong with this deal. Gotta have the tinned copper. Gotta have the shrink wrap. I even throw a little solder in there on the serious connections.

> 24 hourNote: This review is for the 1/0 Awg - 5/16 (M8) Ring sized lugs: These provide a perfect snug fit when used with genuine 1/0 AWG sized wire. Anyone saying it did not fit their 1/0 wire is using wire is likely using cheap wire that is not really the gauge advertised. These are very strong and thick and are closed at the end so they will provide a true cold weld along with a true weatherproof seal like needed in Marine applications. They provide a perfect solid bonding cold weld for 1/0 Welding Wire using Hydraulic Lug Crimpers. Here are the 10 Ton Hydraulic Lug Crimpers I used along with 50 DIM dies: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KS4R3PI/ If you havent ordered 1/0 Wire yet I highly recommend TEMCo WC0050 1/0 Gauge AWG Welding Lead & Car Battery Cable Copper Wire. Its ultra flexible with 975 strands. It’s pure copper not garbage CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) CCA can only handle half the Amps. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LIB6YDC CCA is all over Amazon and will cause all kinds of problems with weak tensile strength that can break when flexed compared to that of a pure copper wire, CCA wires are vulnerable to failure over time as the crimps fail due to thermal expansion differences in the dissimilar metals. With CCA you are not saving money as it has a much higher internal resistance and the lower current carrying capability of much smaller Gauge wire compare to real copper. If you want an extra layer of protection from oil, water and potential shorting like shown in my images. You can add a thick clear layer of Waterproof Marine Grade Heat Shrink Tubing like I used here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MZ9WD98

> 24 hourThese 1/0 connectors were exactly what I needed to to make cable connections to wire up a winch on my vehicle. I used a 10 ton hydraulic crimper with 50 mm jaws to crimp the connectors to the cable to ensure connection was solid. Heat shrink was regular heat shrink I believe it will hold up to keep out moisture as I utilized a heat gun and made sure it was well molded and heat shrink glue protruded from the ends of the tubing evenly. I would most certainly recommend these and will be purchasing again for my next project.
