Unlike the previous ones I have tried this product is relatively easy to get over a bulky wound dressing . Its totally waterproof & can be used over & over again. And it doesnt feel as if its cutting off the circulation. Highly recommend !

Some back story. I broke my ankle and had to be in a cast for 2 months. With my first cast I used the usual trash bag and tape. I thought I had done it up well enough. Nope... water soaked all inside my cast. When I went the to have it replaced I was told about cast covers on Amazon. Being extremely OCD I had to research every cover. I notice that most said these ran tight. But they did the job. Here is my review. This last the WHOLE time. I of course was paranoid every time I took a shower that maybe my cast had poked pin holes. It does feel so odd. But every time my cast was dry. It was tight but it has to be thats how it keeps the water out. If it was loose it wouldnt work. The tightness made it difficult to get on but again, totally worth it. Some advice, dry the ring completely before removing the cover. And carefully hang to dry. Have someone help you put it on, if you can. And go slow. If you have to keep your foot/ leg dry this will be the best investment worth every penny.

Husband tore his achilles, so I bought this to keep his open wound from having problems when he showered. I have to say, its a bit difficult to get on and off. And its difficult to get clothing over it. But once you master that, its great.

It works perfectly. Truly keeps the bandages on my leg & foot perfectly dry. It was a challenge to use the first few times, but is much easier now. It would be nice if it came in sizes. The foot portion is very large..

My step father (83 years young) fractured his heel in a cast and needed something easy to get on and off and it was!

Performed better than expected. Kept my leg completely dry and was extremely easy to get on and off.

Though this was a little long for me after foot surgery, I never feared water getting inside.

This shower leg protector is made of a heavier plastic than what you find at the local drugstore. It is a long thick plastic bag that has a tight rubber gasket at the top of the bag with a plastic ring holding the gasket in place. I had major foot surgery. Instead of a cast the Doctor thickly bandaged my foot and gave me an orthotic boot/shoe to wear. There is no way a leg cast can fit in this leg shower bag. I had to remove my orthopedic boot and use both hands to get the gasket collar open enough to safely put my bandaged foot in the bag. If you dont open the gasket collar enough it will put pressure on your injured foot and can cause pain. If youre not careful removing the bag your bandages will get wet. This leg shower bag is a lot better than any from the drug store or the ones sold at the big American Supercenters pharmacy department. Its also superior to using a kitchen trash bag .

Purchased so I could shower after bunion surgery. It was bigger than I expected. A little awkward because of size, but kept my foot dry as needed.
