Cuts really well with little effort.

Ive only used this a few times. But it works great so far. Ive put some holes in thick book board covered in decorative paper. The results were excellent.

Needle nose pliers are handy when changing bits. Depending on the thickness of material to be punched, you will need to clean the tip out frequently. I use a sharp thin awl for that. Worked well.

Feels great in the hand and works good to. Might not be suggested but you can hammer on it to if hard to reach spot its pretty tough.

It did what I needed it to do, but Im giving a solid 3 stars for two reasons: one, I cant find replacement tips for the punch. If I need a new tip, I have to buy a whole new punch. Second reason is I was very clearly sent a used item that had been returned. The tip that was on the punch when I received it was clogged with material and worn down completely flat (see my photo). That tip is useless now. Thankfully I didnt need that particular size but Im not very pleased.

I wasn’t sure if I had made a good decision to buy this less expensive Japanese hole punch but I couldn’t be happier. I’m using it on cork fabric and thinner cardboard and card stock. This was definitely a wise purchase.

So far so good. I only tried on paper but looks like it will work fine for my needs. I would recommend.

Great tool

I reviews previous but did not discuss the correct product. This version worked and did not break. It is difficult to pull leather from cutting tip and it does take some hand strength.
