When it comes to buy anything like this, generic cartridge, the thing I am worried the most is the compatible of the cartridge. Price is of course a lot cheaper, and I bought the set of 4, which is even better.

07-06-2025I’ve had my Brother HL-L3290CDW since 2018. I’ve purchased non-OEM cartridges maybe twice and both times they’ve sucked. Either you experience ink, bleed, the print quality, including onto the edges of whatever you print, just a mess. I was reluctant to try and get another non-OEM cartridge but so far only installed the black and it works well, so far and fingers crossed. Hopefully it holds up and I’ll get the quality and amount of pages per cartridge that come close to replicating OEM cartridge.

Greater than one weekI have found that I prefer the off brand toner to the brother toner. I was getting light prints using the brother toner, but have no issues getting nice, crisp, dark prints with this off brand toner. It was easy to install and immediately worked with no issues! You get way more toner for the price than buying the on brand toner and given the quality of the prints, its definitely worth the cost!
