this thing does charge and works as intended but it wont fit into socket perfectly and wont stay in if your playing while charging without trying to hold it in place.

Cant tell what model PSP I have. Its old, just not the oldest. So I took the gamble. At the given price not bad at all. Kinda has a bit of a cheap feel to it. But other than that I cant complain. Because it works at charging my PSP. That is all that matters. Game on!

Ive always been weary about buying any 3rd party item for any video game system. I much prefer 1st party peripherals, especially when it comes to Power Supplies, but when it comes to handheld devices, like PSPs and Gameboys, sometimes you just cant help but have to buy extra. I purchased a couple used PSPs and needed some AC Adapters so I purchased this item. When it comes in it was exactly as detailed and I opened it up and used it exactly as it was supposed to be used. Theres not much to say except that it worked perfectly. I was worried if there would be any wiggle to the plug in or anything, but there wasnt and everything fit firm and perfectly with nothing loose, and powered up and charged any PSP I tried it on.
