Greater than one weekI use a tote purse and insert this in to keep my ipad separate, but it can certainly be used alone. I is very padded for protection. The zipper pocket hold quite a lot...I keep my cords and plugs in there. The magnetic pocket is smaller but still good storage. Very nice quality and definitely worth it.
