We bought this because the last fountain we had slopped over the sides and created a problem on our wooden floors. This one does not do that. It is easy to clean, completely quiet and most importantly - our dog and our cats are VERY happy with it. Very good quality!

In previous fountains the motor would become clogged with cat hair and I had to find creative ways to clean it out. (I have 2 long haired cats). The sponge ring is afforadable, easy to remove and apply a new one, and it saves me a ton of time when cleaning!!! Also this box set came with instructions if you forget how to do anything :)

Works well but, easy change, fit fountain. item came in brown box. Not the box pictured. I did notice that the one filter the black one that goes over the pump is slightly different than what came originally with my fountain, but it does fit. It has a slight curve to it, like it was made for something else, it is stretchy though it still works, the white filter fit perfectly.
