Ive had this blanket for several months now with several spills and washing/drying cycles. Its still as good as new. I have tried various other waterproof blankets as well as a supposedly waterproof mattress protectors. I was disappointed with all of them except for this one. It is a little pricier than others, but definitely worth it. I will purchase a second one. Heres what I love about it: - it doesnt make that plastic noise when you move it. It just looks and feels like a regular heavy blanket. - it is waterproof. - its large and covers most of my queen size bed. - its very good quality, the fabric is soft, the seams are tight and look great. - its warm and can be used solely as a warm blanket on winter nights. - the colour is vibrant (I bought the red one) and being reversible makes it great in any decor. I have read other comments about it not being able to handle an adult leak or other large quantities of liquid. For me, it has absorbed the equivalent of a few cups of liquid and remained completely dry on the other side. Its easy to wash, although it does take quite a long time to dry. Be careful when removing the tag though because it is sewn in the edge and if you just pull it like I did (silly me) youll damage the edge.

I purchased this without her knowledge and when she found out how much it cost she was appalled. Afterwards not so much. Super absorbent, keeps the bed or area tidy, folds up neatly, use either side so you can chose which side is for what, cleans in the wash tumble dry low heat. It also helps with grip if you have smooth/satin sheets. Would recommend despite the price as youll enjoy it for a long time to come.
