> 3 dayWell made beautiful toy. My son picked this up from the barrel and as it swung up the truck weighted itself down and the hinge grabbed hold of his little fingers and he was in too much pain to figure out that putting it down would free his hands. Otherwise great item!

> 3 dayThis truck was a gift for a one year old. I give it 5 stars because it’s cute, well-made and a good size for little hands. I also give it 5 stars for the manufacturer’s description under “Features and Details”. I give it 5 Stars for Features and 10 Stars for Details. Details: The manufacturer says that this “shape sorter car simulates the operation of the blender.” This isn’t true of course but I’m ever so glad because I don’t think a one year-old should have a blender. The manufacturer says each shape makes a crunch” sound. This would only be true if the shape sorter actually worked as a blender. Again, I’m glad it’s not true or the shapes could only be played with once and we’d probably end up in the ER. The manufacturer says, “the door can be opened, more lovely image.” This is true. The door CAN be opened— and when you open that door the whole world is transformed into a more beautiful place. Disclaimer: Your experience may vary. Have a few drinks and try again. This is my favorite Detail: The manufacturer says the “shape sorter is an eternal gift wrapped in a very solid color box”. It’s eternal. Yep, my one year-old is going to have this thing forever and ever. He’s going to take it to college with him — and I hope his wife likes it — and then he’ll carry it with him to the Old Folk’s Home. Environmental Warning: If China keeps making these eternal things, at some point, they’re going to start piling up. The last Detail is the recommended age is 18 mos to 15 years. My teenager is going to be really surprised at Christmas because he wants the new iPhone— but I’ll gently explain to him that iPhones are not eternal.
