18-11-2024The company was easy to send product back to and refunded me. The product is not bad. It just disconnects often. Which would not even be that big of an issue but you have go through the reinstall every time to reconnect. I just do not have time for that. Went back to direct wire connection.

> 3 dayWas excited about this dongle but was disappointed. Connected to TV and power, connected to WiFi but cant get it to connect consistently. Most of the time it just doesnt connect period. A few times I was able to get a connection but it only lasted for a short time. When it does connect it will display a static screen ok but struggles with video. Several times it will play audio but not the video. Ive tried this with iPhone, Android and Windows 10 PC all with the same results. I love the concept but this device is not the one.

> 3 dayI was hoping to use this to play steam games on my TV. The transmission distance was about 10 feet and it was horribly laggy. Often it would rotate my display vertically and I had to keep re-pairing until it would turn horizontal. I dont reccommend.

> 3 dayEasy to set up. Worked well with iOS. A bit of latency issues, but a pretty handy device and nice alternative to using AppleTV for mirroring.

Greater than one weekI had tried another kind of linkage device that requires a good network connection and it didnt work with my laptop at all. Thats what got me interested in this device, since it doesnt depend upon the network connection. It was almost like magic when very quickly, my working screen appeared on the large screen. The image quality was excellent and easy to operate. It does get warm while its working so I kept it in a clear area so air could circulate around the device. I did have to log into the network, but the signal itself doesnt require the network to carry it. Ill be trying this one in other circumstances to explore what it can really do.

> 3 dayAt first I thought this thing was junk. You see installation was quick and easy but when I went to mirror my phone. It was really slow. It kept on buffering alot. So I thought maybe it was my router. Sure enough when I reset my router it worked fine.

> 3 dayThe device is easy to setup. Plug and play basically. The main problem I have with it, (and it could be the same with all these types of devices), is a SEVERE lag between my laptop and the TV. At one point, I thought it was frozen, but 2 minutes later it started showing the mouse cursor moving again, but severely lagged.

> 3 day1) Looses connection with display at will. Sometimes in a miute, sometimes in 4 hours. 2) More often just looses the sound, you can enjoy your video without it :) 3) Casting from 2 different smartphones to TV was awfull in quality, artifacts and delay, meanwhile from windows laptop was OK. p.s. wireless router is in 1 feet from TV and dungle, latop is in 4 feets

> 3 dayIt took a little while for my computer to seek it out and pop up as an option for display, but once it did, it failed to connect. The instructions state I need three pieces of hardware that are Intel. The requirements state Intel wireless router, Intel graphics, Intel processor, and Win 8.1 or above. The Win 8.1 is no issue however, the other three are an issue. If you dont have those three Intel requirements above, it wont work.
