What I dont like about this is the price. Think it could cost alot lower. Seen others for less but dont know how the function works for them. This does the same here on this little screen just like on my TV so it does work well. I dont know how far it will stay connected in distance but hey use a big screen wireless across the room? Cant really beat that. Especially if it is a pi. I didnt have to pair them because it already was however when turning it on ut would try to step you through a fre things so loosing the instructions is really no big deal in a way. Picture quality is just like having a cord there. I would imagine that if watching a movie there might be some kind of lag because nothing beats direct connection like wired if no lag is needed. Not saying there is but if you notice it then because if wireless there might be some. Well other than price I think these a are good. 4 stars if you know why. Good Luck just me.

When it comes to technology, life just keeps getting better. My computer will cast to my smart TV, but only with some programs, not many, and it was difficult to make that work. Using a 25’ HDMI cable worked well but was a hassle. This device works as well as a cable but without the hassle and trip hazard. It is truly plug and play. The most complicated part was switching the input on the TV. The only issue I had was that one, not smart TV, that is over 10 years old, wouldn’t recognize it. It works fine on a different TV, that is also over 10 years old, and on all my newer TV’s. I noticed people wrongly complaining about the size and the fact that it’s too wide to fit next to other cables on the back of the TV. There is a pigtail included just for that purpose. It is not an issue. I’m very happy with this and it gets used a lot.

DO NOT BUY! Does not work as stated. Plug-in devices are made too big to reasonably fit into HDMI ports on devices without covering adjacent ports, and only one HDMI extension plug-in cord is included. Transmitter and Receiver only intermittently register one another, and when they do the transmitter is not registered by the device its plugged into. I tried pairing them multiple times, per the instructions, but it did not fix the issue. TV just kept saying Plug and Play when the transmitter was plugged in. All-in-all, Id say this product was able to transmit for a few hours out of weeks worth of attempted usage. Bottom line is this product does not work, save your money.

    works great

  • This was a great investment. I purchased it for my DVR surveillance cameras. I attached one to my tv and the other to the DVR. This is sooooo much better than running a 50ft HDMI hard wire like I was doing that’s was a headache. This wireless HDMI so worth it.

This is soo much better than running a 50ft HDMI hard wire like I was. I installed one on my tv monitor and the other in my DVR on the 1st floor. Great reception. Definitely was worth my money.

It is working well with 1080p and in 60Hz/120 Motion Rate. Working well with my recently purchased non-smart small TV purchased from Amazon. If anyone have PS5 and 120Hz refresh rate TV then I will still recommend to go with wired HDMI capable of 120Hz refresh rate. But if you have you use it with for devices capable to provide 60Hz then go for this wireless HDMI, happy so far without any issue.

Successfully (?) installed and used the transmitter and receiver on my MacBook and flat screen TV. However, once we returned to normal MacBook viewing, started getting lots of panic crashes. Cant id the source of the problem, so the crashes continue...

I periodically do trainings and I like to be away from the huge monitor mounted on the wall, and sometimes even talk from the back of the room. I don’t like running long cables or being tethered to the monitor, especially if it’s an event type venue and you have a trip hazard and have to put gaff tape on everything. A secondary application is at home. Often I have my computer running in my home office but after a long day, I want to relocate to another part of my home that is more comfortable. I can very easily take my wireless mouse and keyboard and simply go to another room where I have a monitor set up. And occasionally, I will have all my video and streaming stuff hooked up to one TV and want to finish a movie or something in the kitchen or even on the patio. This is an easy way to make that happen. I wouldn’t call myself a power user and I am not pushing this thing to its spec limits for the signal. I’m not doing 4k or gaming. The listing notes that this is good for about 98 feet which is less distance than some comparable devices out there on the market. I am never in a place where I would need that kind of range. Rarely am I going more than about 50 feet away from transmitter to receiver and the signal easily worked from one room to another through walls in the same building. I didn’t sense any interference between these and other electronics and I didn’t notice any lag in the signal as I got further away or with all the other electronics used in the area. Your experience may differ from mine and you may experience some lag or stutter if you are trying to push more data through them, have content with heavy resolution, or have obstacles between the receiver and transmitter. For my purposes, they functioned well. The pair were easy to set up and were unobtrusive once in place. The build quality was nice and compared to other options, I feel like these are fairly compact. Neither unit got hot during use.

I guess this works OK and clearly it’s designed for something like mobile rather than a set up in your home. It works although the transmitter and receivers get pretty warm. The problem is they plug directly into the devices so if the plug is in the back of the TV the TV body and all the electronics inside or going to do a fair job of blocking the signal. You may need an hdmi extension cord for this so you can get a clear line of sight. These smaller devices are limited because they don’t have external antennas. The other thing is the power requirements. It still uses micro USB instead of USB-C which is starting to be a real pain. And the strain of having another cable plugged in risks damaging your HDMI port. You have to be very careful about making sure that either side doesn’t put undue stress on the HDMI port. And of course you have to have a free USB handy on both sides or you won’t be able to power this device. I guess that’s inevitable although I would like to see a way to draw power from the HDMI port itself. Pin 18 on the HDMI specifications only carries .25 W but that should be enough to power a small transmitter or at the very least the receiver. But since nobody makes one yet I am guessing they have not been able to make that work efficiently.
