My husband is diabetic. He wears a CGM and an insulin pump. The generic patches and adhesives do not stay at all. We were told about this product and decided to try it. Boy were we pleased!!! It helps the adhesives stick better and longer! Thank you skin tac!

This product works great to keep my Libre sensor in place especially used in conjunction with the Simpatch.

They are very convenient to have. Easier to use that the bottle. Yes, you get it on your fingers, but just have an alcohol swab to clean it off and its good to go. It sticks the same as the bottle also.

I use a Dexcom G6 sensor, and ordered this product after the sensor patch beginning to peel typically after 4 of the 10 days a sensor is intended to last and attempting medical tape and other means to get the full life out of it. After using Skin-Tac now for a couple of sensors I can say that it makes a significant difference. Highly recommended for CGM users and Id imagine most other adhesive (to skin) needs. I first tried wiping it in a circle directly on the skin (leaving a hole in the center for the sensor itself). This was somewhat difficult to see the spot without when putting the sensor on, and I put too little as it still began to peel after 5-6 days or so. I still put tape over it just in case. Next I tried the same method, but made sure to put more and applied the sensor more quickly, which worked great and got me the full 10 days out of the senor without extra tape or glue or overpatch. In general if you go swimming with it or get it particularly wet like that, it seems the glue holds fine, but may start to peel a bit sooner than if you dont. Also, as in the title, I have had no irritation to my skin at all with it. Though I would recommend rubbing alcohol or baby oil to remove adhesive after removing the sensor. (Not noticing considerably more adhesive left on my skin to remove than when I just had the sensor patch with no Skin-Tac though, so thats not due specifically to this product.) Be warned though, the wipes are very sticky and I tend to use gloves when handling them just to avoid the mess of adhesive covered fingers.
