> 24 hourI got my mom a lot of really nice Christmas gifts this year. Thoughtful ones. Sentimental ones. Outfitted her kitchen with a ton of new gadgets. Bought her a closet full of pajamas and lounge clothes that coordinate and are so cute they rival many women’s actual wardrobes. But none of those things compared to the elation upon receiving this umbrella. First, she lost her mind with laughter over the duck, despite previously owning duck umbrellas. Then, she was excited about the turquoise because, should she walk in a parking lot at night, she won’t get hit by a car(????) Now, in mid February, I write this review as we’ve had no snow in southern NY this winter, only rain and every time there’s a sign of a slightest drizzle, she is compelled to let me know, with childlike glee “I am bringing my duckie with me.” Oh, also A+ on the construction of it. It’s super sturdy, which is an important trait in a duck and an umbrella.
