> 3 dayThis is perfect. Great size, feels heavy and of substance. It does work flawlessly and had it up in a wind storm and it was sturdy and did fly all over the place. I bought a long umbrella so I would not loose the damn thing - it is big enough that you will see it, know you set it somewhere and realize it is almost a man accessory. Nice thing too, with a hardy swing you will definitely bust someones skull if the need arises.

> 3 dayAfter a month and 1/2 the umbrella wont stay closed unless the elastic strap is holding it. Only used a handful of times for my commute to work from the train! Was never handle roughly or anything or that sort. Just not made the best is my guess.

> 3 dayI bought this umbrella in 2016 and I still have it. This umbrella has taken a beating but it has not failed me yet I get compliments on having such a smart umbrella. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

> 3 dayI ordered two of these after reading the reviews on Amazon. The second time I opened it the wooden handle snapped right off in two. It wasnt even outside in the rain! Would obviously now recommend buying this product.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella is great so far. It feels sturdy and looks more elegant than I imagined. Nice size for NYC too, no golf umbrella which are HUGE. I will update my review according to its life span, but so far so good.

> 3 dayWe live in California where, unfortunately, it doesnt seem to rain often. Bought this 1-1/2 years ago and used maybe 5-10 times. Went to use last night and the umbrella completely detached from the shaft - it just slides up & down the shaft and there is no way to reattach.
