> 3 dayExpected more from totes. The material was a ready ripped off the end of the metal frame when received. Really difficult to open. Very disappointed.

Greater than one weekI bought this little umbrella because I was going away on a trip overseas and I needed a small umbrella for travel purposes. It is super compact and I love the design. There is no other brand quite like totes for making a little umbrella that is compact and well-made. I will update this review once I actually use it, because I have not yet needed to use it for any rain.

> 3 dayI purchased this specifically for a spring trip to Europe, when the weather can be unpredictable, as I wanted something super lightweight and compact enough to fit in my travel purse without weighing it down. Overall, a very solid purchase. Size-wise, it was perfect - super compact and very light. I don’t love manual umbrellas, preferring those with auto open at the push of a button, but since even the smallest of the latter style was bigger than I wanted to carry with me on my trip, manual it was. The opening/closing manually was smooth, the umbrella itself was quite sturdy despite its small size, and I like that it dried quickly and came with a cover/case that you could slip it back into without getting the rest of the stuff in your purse wet after use. The only downside for me was that the coverage area was small, but that’s to be expected when you buy an umbrella specifically for its small travel size. It was fine for me, but my husband and I couldn’t use it together when we got caught in the rain once on the trip.
