> 3 dayI was a huge fan of totes umbrellas for well over 30 years. I would go to the outlets and buy a few annually. They would last easily 6 years and I even have one thats 15 years old in perfect condition. They used to be really well built with fine materials but not anymore. Based on looks and feel youd think these would last 20 years. It felt really solid at first but eventually fell flat after medium winds and a bit of rain. Things that used to be all metal is now plastic. Cheap aluminum snapping and falling off the rivets with barely a wind pushing. It doesnt even close anymore. I have to pull it hard. Im really saddened by todays totes umbrellas. I would really like to send it in for the warrantee but why would I want another garbage umbrella? Its time to move on and find something better.

> 3 daySo don’t let the pictures fool you. It’s compact when folded. But unwrap it and press the button to reveal a big ass umbrella! And press it again to collapse it! It looks and feels really high quality and I can tell by the metal that it won’t just unravel when the wind blows. I bought the black one and it looks professional and work ready, while also compact and has a nice strap attached to it, so it’s perfect for my commute to work. It’s also really affordable for a totes umbrella (this is my third, the first two got lost) with the $4.00 coupon amazon has going. With free next day on Prime! But best of all, even though it’s big, it’s not as big as those ridiculously huge umbrellas people in New York walk around with, so you won’t look like a douchebag when you have it open. Lol Overall, I’m super satisfied with my purchase, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, sturdy, reliable yet compact umbrella, big enough to also cover your backpack. Maybe even with a loved one.

> 3 dayLove this umbrella. Had to get this after accidentally leaving my old Totes in the shopping cart at Walmart. My only complaint is that I was promised a two day delivery but it took seven days. Not the umbrellas fault.

> 3 dayThis is my Totes umbrella after having opened it ONLY 3 times. I do not live in the US so returning is not an option. I am highly disappointed.

> 3 dayThis is the sturdiest travel umbrella I’ve ever owned. It’s even Ireland proof. It’s a bit larger than other travel umbrellas so doesn’t fit in my purse quiet as well, but the sturdiness more than makes up for it.

> 3 dayIt’s a good product. Easy to open and most importantly easy to close. But it seems not strong as described.

> 3 dayHave gotten it for few days now and used today in the light rain with moderate wind. While umbrella performed well, I had sensation that it might not withstand a wind gust. Will see how it will do in the future

> 3 dayI purchased this to put in a compartment in the door of my car. I havent had a need to use it yet, but I am confident that it will work just fine. Anything that I have ever purchased with the Totes brand has met all my expectations!!!
