> 24 hourThis box is well made and has the quality of boxes that used to be made in the US. I have an old hip style box I bought back in early 70s that this could be compared to. Nice color and will hold a fair amount of tools youd consider to take away with you for a remote job. Dividers fit nicely in top trays and could be easily used for a good variety of fasteners, washers etc. I am satisfied with the fit and finish of the box and the handle is comfortable.

> 24 hourIts a compact steel toolbox with slotted dividers. The blue one is a nice color, but the paint wears off quickly as it seems to lack a primer coat. As long as youre not using this for marine use, it will last you decades. The tension for the trays is created with rivets and cannot be adjusted, as it gets more use it should be easier to swing open. The top will open with rough handling or if it tips over. If you want to hold it shut you must tie your own wire, padlock, or carabiner around the small lock hole. Its a good size for an small jobs or hobbyist. Where you might want to have some small parts and small specialized tools, such as a box for residential electrician work for a general contractor or handy man. Get a box for each sort of job you do and grab it from your truck as needed. Pack some drywall patch, fiberglass tape, mud, keyhole saw, and putty knives for a wall repair kit.

> 24 hourSolid metal with riveted hing construction this thing is pretty stout. The metal texture looks great and makes it resistant to denting. It holds more than you think and the dividers allow you to meet your custom storage requirements on the top shelf. Also I purchased the blue colored box and love the color, the pearl blue makes it look quite nice

> 24 hourAs someone else stated this is a different design than the Trusco. On this box the top opens independently from opening the bottom (see photos). However that is the only difference. My guess is that Toyo had this box made by Trusco for then and made a slight design change as I see absolutely no other differences. I decided to keep the box as I like the design better for my purpose. Most of what I need in this box is in the top section. I also find that opening the box is easier as you are not opening the top and bottom at the same time. I think that either box is fantastic. Just think about your needs.

> 24 hourToyo offers small steel storage containers and Id been looking to add one for a while. The deal on Amazon was the best I found as shipping from Japan was equal to 3 boxes. Im using mine for art supplies and it will only get better with time.

> 24 hourHolds all my manual tools, and looks great doing it. I’d buy it in other colors to organize other things if they offered it.

> 24 houryou cant find an all metal sturdy small tool box anymore. This is old school just what I was looking for. Carry tools for the car in an old 30 car. Ammo can. Have to always dump out to find what I need. Small enough to fit behind the seat of the pick up truck. Cordless drill wont fit in it but thats not what I purchased it for.

> 24 hourA Youtube influencer commented that it would be worth twice the price to see Made In Canada stamped on this toolbox. Id pay three times the price for one made in U.S.A. It takes real pride and self-respect to manufacture this way. Thank You, Toyo, and to all the Japanese men and women who remember that doing things well is always worth doing.

> 24 hourThis is a nice little toolbox. Thought out, simple and well made. This thing is in the Museum of Modern Art! Dont cheap out! Buy the Japanese made TOYO one. You wont regret it. Your kids will fight over it when youre gone.

> 24 hourThe box is a well constructed product. Japanese steel is the best. Everything fits perfectly and it all just makes sense. The handles are pretty comfortable ish. The dividers are conveniently stored on the side of the top compartments and held in place by a spring mechanism. The hinges are sturdy, no play but might need to be oiled depending on QC. The finish is fantastic. I have no complaints.
