This is a quality winch for my purpose of hauling a small two man fishing boat out of the water and onto land. It replaced a cheaper HF winch rated for a bigger load but the teeth on that one did not mesh properly when under a load and it locked up. I had to return that one to HF for a refund. This one worked perfectly with the same installation.

The handle fell of while driving. Arrived at the lake. No trailer winch handle.

It seems solid and well constructed.

Broken after a month, I’m using it for my 700 pounds jetski so not even close to the capacity and after little over a month it’s already useless, literally almost lost my ski coming out of the ramp Don’t buy it!!!!

Works very smoothly. Use it to pull boat up .

Works great on my boat trailer. No trouble hauling my 14 Aluminum with 15HP motor out of the water. I replaced my old winch because the Pawl spring kept coming off. The spring on this one is much better. Operation is smoother as well.
