> 3 dayThis bag has been wonderful - I have had it for less than a year and have gone on multiple cross country and international trips with everything I need in just this bag. No need for a carryon or checked bag, works perfectly as a personal item for all the airlines I’ve flown - United, American, Delta, and Frontier. Frontier was by far the most strict, but as long as you don’t over stuff the bag, they’ll let you go. It has paid for itself many times over. It is generally comfortable to carry around for long periods of time, depending on how much weight you put in it. But worth it to not be paying extra fees.

> 3 dayI bought this for a specific trip that was for four days and would involve a lot of walking; car to shuttle, shuttle to ferry, ferry to hotel...you get the idea. I wanted something that would hold enough stuff for a four day stay (vacation, not business so no suites etc.) and would be easy to transport. I was skeptical of this product because of the price and thought it was too inexpensive and so would be poorly made and cheap. It turned out to be neither; its well made of sturdy nylon with good zippers and lots of storage. And most importantly for this trip; you can pack it like a suitcase but wear it like a backpack. Its a bit heavy when fully packed but manageable, the shoulder straps are padded and it sits well on your back. One issue, the large pocket on the shoulder strap side of the case cant really be used for more than a few clothing items because otherwise the bulge created presses hard against your back. Other than that I was very happy with it. I used two of the straps on one side to carry a rolled up rain slicker that wouldnt fit inside which was very helpful. Overall a great product for the price. Note; it comes with three different sized packing cubes that I didnt use but my wife was happy to take off my hands.

> 3 dayEven after reading the reviews and finding some of them with manufacturing issues, I am pleasantly surprised by this bags durability after dragging it all over Costa Rica for two weeks. This little bag is a powerhouse! And for about 40 bucks, Im stoked on the quality for what I paid. The luggage compartment is shockingly roomy, and even has the mesh pocket on the inside flap as well as the elastic security straps. I definitely over-packed, but as a carry-on, it worked really well. The outermost pockets on the front can be a little hard to maneuver in if youve over packed the main compartment, like I did, but still function well if you stuff everything into the pockes before zipping the luggage bay. The security straps on both outer sides are great for attaching extra items, like a towel or other small roll. I hung my oversized water bottle from them, as well as other quick-access items. The laptop pouch is nicely concealed and also padded for comfort. I used that space to keep my towel clean at the beginning of my trip. After 5 flights and I dont know how many bus trips and taxi rides, and many, many steps, I havent experienced any breaks or broken stitches. Also, it fit expertly in most overhead storage compartments on both plane and bus (not all busses). As heavy as the bag was (my fault for over-packing, and also moisture in everything from humidity), this bag really made my trip a breeze whereas other bulkier bags or rolling luggage might have been burdensome. **Updated** This bag has now also been to Turkey and Hawaii, both as a personal item or carry-on. If you dont over pack it, it will work as a personal item (unless youre flying Frontier, because they are regimental about putting your stuff in that stupid metal box that is supposed to simulate under-seat space. A year after purchase, still no breaks in the straps or zippers.

> 3 dayI bought it for a recent trip on a plane over the Christmas break so a lot to pack. This thing packs an amazing amount of stuff and fits under a plane seat. It also has a lot of pockets, a computer compartment, and normal water bottle size pocket. It’s comfortable on your back, sits on your suitcase with a strap. It came with luggage mesh bags to pack clothes. I only used it once so can’t comment on durability but it seems well made, not cheap.

> 3 dayI bought this to use as my personal item for domestic flights, but its actually a little too big for that purpose. However, it is about the size of a standard, rolling carry-on, and can be used as such! The only slight negative about this backpack is the packing cubes. They are not the best quality, but they still do what they are supposed to do. I love that the backpack opens like a suitcase.

> 3 dayI love that this backpack was made with durable feeling heavy duty fabric. It was the perfect size for our trip to Thailand where the airline we were using within the country was very specific on bag sizes - this bag maximized how much we could bring while still helping us stay within our allowed size. Only complaint I have is that the front zippers catch a bit, likely because the fabric is so thick.

> 3 dayI was able to stuff this backpack near to the brim and still have it count as a personal item. The way the zipper opens up the main compartment like a carry on lets you easily fit clothes and other items in there. Highly recommend for anyone needing a personal item or carry on backpack.

> 3 dayI Bought this backpack a month ago and have been using it for weekend trips and its fantastic, fits everything even a big towel and a pair of sneakers. The laptop compartment is very big,my 13 MacBook Pro fits perfectly even with a laptop sleeve. The bottle compartment doesnt use the space of the main compartment. The main reason for this purchase is to use it on flights, not tested yet but in a few weeks will be used for an international flight at American Airlines, it has 2 more inches that are required but hopefully wont have any problems, will update. Took a domestic flight, and nobody told me anything about the size of the backpack, even when it was packed; the only thing is that is very uncomfortable having it under the seat because it occupied almost all the space, and Im very short; it was a 3-hour flight but still very uncomfortable (add some pics) and in the international flight the space under the seat was a little bigger but was told to put it with the carry-ons because it looks very big. I think it is a good option to use it as a carry-on or not very packed so you can push it. Be careful with low-cost airlines you might have problems.

> 3 daySo many good things to say about this bag. I love that it opens like a carry on. It has a separate slot for your laptop which makes it really easy to get through TSA. Great mesh pocket in side like a suitcase. Very sturdy and durable. The pockets on the outside are nice but it car be a little difficult to get things in/out when the bag is full since the pockets are flat and deep. Another thing is, this is not a backpack you should wear when walking around/sightseeing. I made this mistake in DC in Sept and the backpack made my bag extra hot and sweaty. Going forward, this bag is a must when traveling. I’ll just bring an additional bag for sightseeing.
