My niece is in first grade and has been sharing her new found talent for reading and spelling words. (I have come to realize the spelling words out loud is a no-go now). I would say shes reading at a solid level for first grade, maybe even early second (I have tutored reading with kids in this age group in the past). These are perfect and now she has a game that reinforces what she is learning in school.

this is the best learning toy i have every seen. my daughter loves to play it and learned the words very quickly. i definately recommend all levels of this product.

Absolutely essential for a beginning reader. This deck does duplicate one word form the level A series (The word is find). Overall these have helped my child.

I have all three sets of these flash cards. My 1st Grader is now very excited about reading as the flashcards are more like a game to her than an actual task. The cards are very durable. I wish I would have purchased these last year when she was in Kindergarten.

My 3 year old can now recognize site words, but I cant say it was just these as we use ABC mouse and a bunch of other tools,... but I do like them, and so does the 3 year old.
