I have limited space in the wiring closet. No room for a standard rack. I used a 2U vertical rack for the switch and router. I added this to meet the needs for a patch panel. Works great. The mount could be a little shorter as it sticks out from the wall a little further than the 2U mounts.

Pro: Diese Wandhalterungen sind wirklich sehr solide. Dickes Stahlblech, schwarz pulverbeschichtet. Das Scharnier ist ebenso stabil. Ich habe 2 Stück von der 4-HE-Version bestellt. Aber aufgepasst: Da ist die Scharnierseite nur zweigeteilt, d.h. man klappt immer 2 HE gleichzeitig auf. Kontra: Die Verpackung war sehr bescheiden. Der Umkarton war völlig aufgerissen und mit vielen Lagen verschiedenen Klebebandes wieder zusamengeflickt. Darin aber zum Glück jede Wandhalterung noch mal einzeln in einem Karton. In einem Karton war alles i.O., im anderen flogen die schwarzen Schrauben lose herum. Interessant dabei: Die Tüte, wo die rein gehören, war leer verschweißt und nicht geöffnet! Das kann ich mir nur so erklären, dass es kein Transportschaden war sondern mit voller Absicht so verpackt. Zum Glück war um die Wandhalterung noch eine Schutzfolie, sonst wäre alles zerkratzt worden. Fazit: Diese an sich sehr guten Wandhalterungen hätten eine viel bessere Verpackung verdient!

Perfect fit

This is the first time Ive used this 1U rack hinged rack piece. Seems to be pretty OK. Time will be a better judge here.

Used it for a 1 U keystone patch panel. Worked out OK. I will agree with another reviewer, it does sag when swung into the open position. The hinged side could/should be sturdier. The weight of the patch panel and adding keystone jacks into the panel it started to bend. I had to go ahead and screw the bracket down in the closed position to finish inserting my keystone jacks. This makes a little more difficult to cable manage and insert the jacks.

Decided to at cat6 to my home so I bought this patch panel on a recommendation. So far it has served me well. All of the spaghetti runs through the back. The numbered connections have color-coded, easy-to-read connection types. A krone impact tool helps to quickly make the connections. On the front, you have clean patch cables that connect to an unmanaged switch. In the end, it looks much more professional.

This Trendnet 1U bracket works great in tight locations. Had an install in the top of a cabinet, very little space to work with and a fair amount of equipment. The Trendnet bracket with hinge made the install of the cables much easier. When completed the install was efficient and looked great.

I purchased this to mount a 24 port keystone patch panel. This hinged wall mount bracket got the job done. -1 star only because I think they could have made the hinge tolerances better. The hinge sags very noticeably when my mounted patch panel is not screwed in on both ends. Paint finish is good, screws included are a positive and screw hole threads are all well machined. Would buy again, despite the sagging hinge.
