Absolutely slaps and shakes the area around it! Exactly what I have been wanting in a speaker as far as sound. Some things I would say they could do to make it better:

Wow just wow the reviews did not do this boombox justice, it loses bass at higher volumes but for a the price you get an amazing piece of kit. My bumpboxx is louder has deeper bass but its heavy as hell and not very portable in comparison this thing is grab n go. Unfortunately Im going to gift this to a friend whos going through some things so he can enjoy it.

I read all the reviews but was still unconvinced that the sound could be as awesome as described. But I took a chance and bought the speaker (Tribit Stormbox Blast) on sale at amazon, thinking I may need to return it for the reason not as described. After unboxing and charging it to full charge I gave it an audition and it is true, the sound is amazing and it punches way above its class. This speaker should not be a second choice to a JBL but should be considered before JBL ever comes to mind. Happy listening and leave the JBL buying choice to the less informed.

I absolutely like the soundcore motion boom and the Plus but this is definitely better. No comparison. Its on pair with the BB2 but for the price you already know the answer which to get. It could sound even better with the eq Tribit App. If you want bb2 sound and bass quality get this instead for the money is gonna be hard to beat. Absolutely love this speaker the more I listen to it

In general an incredible value and sounding product. One thing that is a huge marketing point is the extra bass feature. I had an issue with this because the extra bass preset changes the whole EQ profile, not just the bass. If you check the app and look at the frequency sliders, both treble and upper midrange is boosted also, this preset is VERY bright sounding, almost sibilant. If you try to adjust or make a custom preset this doesn’t allow you to access the same frequencies that the stock presets are tweaking which is a huge bummer for me. Give me more bass WITHOUT extra treble and this product would be a 10/10 IMO.

Sounds great with a variety of genres and a variety of volumes. The lights can either be considered a nice bonus or an annoyance depending on your taste. They can easily be turned off if you prefer. This is far heavier than most Bluetooth speakers so not something you would likely travel with but if you are just interested in something that can be moved around the house, taken car camping, or driven to a friends house, you will have a hard time beating the sound quality at this size and price. I bought 2 which definitely ups the ante in terms of sound quality fullness. One sounds great. 2 is another level. If I had to make one minor complaint it’s the lack of usb-c charging. These speakers need their own cords that won’t work with all your other portable devices. Not the end of the world since the battery lasts very long under normal use.

It’s good looking and robust. Quite heavy.
