I love that it cuts metal hate that i cant get some else to do it, And it is dangerous if you throw it at someone while in use. So use safety glasses

A few feet of 3/16, 1/4, and 3/8 steel plate cut with no issues/wheel failures. The only warning I would give is when the first 1/8 inch of the wheel wears down they tend to spit out a bunch of abrasive for a second and then smooth back out right away. I typically wear the first 1/8 inch away on a thicker cast iron scrap piece before performing my cuts that need to be spot on.

Yes they cost half as much as the wheels at the big box stores, but they also wear out twice as fast. Not a value since you spend twice as much time changing out wheels.

I took a chance on these cutting wheels and Im very impressed! They are durable and seem to be up to the quality of the big name brands. I will definitely be back to order more when the time comes.

I put them through some ruff cutting and held and last longer then others

I cut through this cast iron tub with 4 wheels that’s the same amount as i use from HD

I have used metal cut off wheels for years. These are thinner and would best be used to cut thinner metal (sheet metal, metal under 1/8). They do cut well, but a lot of them have come apart at the center metal support. The last one I used, after I was done cutting I switched my grinder off. While it was decelerating the disc separate from the metal ring, the disc flew off and cut a 3 gash on the side of my face. Its not worth a permanent scar or a trip to the hospital to use these discs.
