I ordered this a gift for a friend that bought a 22 Taos after totaling her car.l. She has a problem with coins everywhere. Its a seemless fit. You open the armrest...you drop it in and it closes. Without this the armrest is an endless pit. Now she can charge her phone in the armrest if needed. As big as VW is they couldve included this for this cheap or at least made it an accessory and charged double..but nope. Fast forward a month later, My grandma trades in her car for a 22 Taos. HA! So i ordered this again.

The console storage on the new Tiguan is narrow and deep, and I found myself digging around for frequently needed items. This tray allows me to keep those items on top and easily accessible. The tray is easy to lift out and get any items still in “the hole”

Fits center console of a USA-market 2021 Tiguan SEL perfectly. Honestly this should have been included in the base features of the car, the console is ridiculous without it. I got it via Amazon Marketplace for about the same price as ordering one from Aliexpress, but it arrived in two days instead of a month, and I had confidence that it would fit a US-market Tiguan. I suppose the weird hole in the bottom of the tray isnt useful since there isnt a charging port inside the console, but I dont think its a problem either.
