Worked great in my 2009 X5

Easy install. Only need 3 tools... (Id recommend a 1.5 to 2inch wide pry bar).... T10 torx screwdriver and t20 torx screwdriver (4inch long minimum, 3 inch long does NOT reach the screw inside the handle). I replaced 3 handles (front passenger, both back handles) in about 10mins. Do it yourself. Itll save you atleast $150 a car shop/dealership will charge.

For any one with an x5 / x6 we know how horrible the passenger side door handle melts away. The oem rubber slowly melt away, the dealer quoted 500 dollars for this repair. This item was excellent, well built and simple to install … Looks better than new and also feels better at most it was a 3 minute install. Excellent purchase

Ive tried several versions of this part sold by various Amazon sellers. This is the one to buy. Other pieces either dont come with the clips, bind the switches, or both. This unit required VERY minor trimming of some plastic flash around the window switches, which I consider a very minor nit when the OEM part costs over $150. Be prepared to do a little trimming at the top bar and bottom parts where the window switches actuate, but otherwise fit and feel is excellent.
