Greater than one weekI ended up having to ducktape every single bottle because the lids would not stay secure. Also two bottles lids were cracked. With the being said the amount of dye was great. But no way to reuse.

22-11-2024I made 25 shirts, (adult sized M-XL) ,8 pairs of adult socks, 5 kid sized shirts. I still had enough left over for a few more pieces. Process was very easy. Let product sit overnight and rinsed/washed the next day. Colors are still a bit muted but the kids loved them! Not sure how long they will hold up over time but for a one time use event these are great. Note**** you need to buy more rubber bands. The kit came with enough for 12 shirts. I had to run out mid project to buy some.

> 3 dayI opened the box and there as yellow dust everywhere in the box. The cap of the yellow bottle came off in shipping. I was able to salvage about half of the yellow powder, though the dust got into my jeans and stained them. Oh well! Just to be safe, open the box outside in clothes that you dont care about XD.

Greater than one weekWe like to set up a tie dye station for birthday parties, and this was the first time I bought the XL set-usually I prefer the smaller set with more colors. After using both, if you have a larger group of people/items, go with this one! We dyed multiple items and still had bottles that were half full. We found ourselves searching closets for additional things to dye. I would recommend buying extra rubber bands and gloves for a larger party, as we did run out pretty quickly. Also, do yourself a favor and pick up a tarp, makes for easy cleanup. We had ziploc and old grocery bags so people could take their items home (they didn’t rinse at the party, we wanted to allow the full process time).

> 3 dayIt said I was buying tie dye and that’s indeed what showed up. Did the trick when we were bored. I now own a ton of tie dye stuff. Buy it.

> 3 dayIf your looking to make an abundance of pieces this is the product for you. I never bought tye dye product before so I did not know to buy smaller bottles. If your looking to make small personal items and your not going to use it within 72 hours dont buy these ones buy the smaller kits that tulip also sells. All in all the color is bright when applied by the 72 hour time recommended. I did make up one of the bottles and let it sit for 7-10 days and the color was subtle just the the instructions said it would be. So what I did for the rest of the bottles, so I would not waste it is I measured out the dye, Be very careful to wear gloves and DO NOT do this near anything you dont want to dye!!!! I measured 1/4 cup the dye powder and then 4oz of water and bought a small squirt bottle from the dollar store, worked perfect. That way there was no losing of the pigmentation of color from sitting around and i am still able to do many, many, many pieces. If your looking for a pack for a party or an event these are great due to there size next time I will be ordering the smaller bottles that tulip also sells... ;)

Greater than one weekI used this kit to tie-dye shirts for my prek class field day. The shirts came out amazing! I followed the directions to make the spiral and each shirt came out bright with a clear spiral pattern! The kids were thrilled! Pros: -easy to use squirt bottles -no pre-soaking required -color came out bright and lasts -we received many compliments on our shirts! Cons: -made fewer t-shirts than expected -messy and a little difficult to use, but hey, its tie-dye My observations and tops: -This kit claims to make up to 72 projects, but it made 18 youth small t-shirts, 3 adult small t-shirts, and 1 adult xl t-shirt, with a enough dye for maybe 2-3 more shirts. So Id buy 1 kit per class of 18-20 students. -its still messy. I used a turkey roasting tin and my own more fitted latex-free gloves. I also covered the table with a plastic cover and wore an apron. -I ended up having to apply the dye as it quickly became too messy for the kids to be touching the dyes. And the you really have to pry into the creases of the shirts to saturate the fabric with enough dye. -if you get the fabric slightly damp, the dye applies mush easier. Too wet and the dye runs out. Dry fabric repels the dye and it rolls off.
