This color might be their worst one. I do not like using it. It does not come out orange and leaves a lot of dark red spots. Both times that I used this orange, it came out ugly. Dark red dots every where and faded out so much after the first rinse. It’s one of their colors that I refuse to work with again. The first time I tried it, I thought maybe it was something I did. But then I tried it again, with the same results. I was very careful putting it on and left it on 24 hours. It still didn’t make a difference. You’re better off mixing your own orange or getting it from a different company all together.

a great value when compared to having to purchase a whole set just to get more of the color you need. Way better than driving all the way to the big box craft store.

Refill is not a orange as the original.

I purchased orange and teal tie dye and I don’t feel like the orange came out as vibrant or as orange as I would have liked ☹️ In person, it looks more red/pink to me (of course not as red as actual red tie dye—see picture for comparison). Also, there are splotchy “dots” of dye all throughout the orange (but not the teal). I feel I mixed both colors very well, shaking the bottles for several minutes until it looked like there were no clumps left. This is the first time I’ve used Tulip brand and I’ve never had this happen with other brands I’ve used. For the price I paid vs. what I could get at Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart, I think this should have turned out better. I would probably not purchase this particular tie dye again (at least not the orange color). For reference: I washed the shirt in my washing machine before, did a “wet” dye technique (dyeing the shirt while it was damp from the washer), let it sit for about 16 hours in a plastic bag, and then rinsed and laundered the shirt again.
