Greater than one weekThey’re okay. These have a rather shallow hook. Here you can see in comparison to my Susan bates hook, which is cheaper and better in my opinion. The Susan bates hook is a nice deep hook that really grabs the yarn well. These hooks are too shallow and I often drop the yarn while using them and it slows down my crocheting immensely.

> 3 dayI am a fairly new crocheter and have been trying several crochet hooks. These are winners. I am so much faster with these hooks - its amazing! And the yarn goes through smoothly, rarely if ever catching or splitting - even loosely plied cotton yarns. I love this set and have purchased a few extra Etimo hooks in sizes that werent included. Great value - wonderful product.

Greater than one weekI have included photos of the Tulip Etimo (1st from left) generic Boye style ergonomic (2nd) Clover Soft Touch (3rd) and Bates Luxite (4th). I also own a set of Prym Ergonomic for Wool, but didnt include them in this review. But quickly, they are way too draggy on cotton though I love everything else about them, including the length and the handle.
