The screen cover is crystal clear and fits so well you almost forget its there. I was out on a hike recently and accidentally dropped my Garmin etrex 30x, onto rocks, face down. When I picked it up the screen had high impact marks with radiating shatter lines (like after a rock hits a windshield). I was devastated because I love my GPSr and use it often. After arriving back home, I peeled off the Tusita screen protector (which somehow magically came off in one piece instead of multiple glass shards) and the Garmin screen was perfectly fine, not even a scratch. The protector had absorbed all of the impact and damage from the fall. Saved my Garmin! :)
