Its a little loose so I can pry it on and off, but only intentionally. Not sure if it would do any actual protecting, however, if it fell off. Very soft. Its just nice to have so that when I put it on my desk face down its not on the screen directly.

It fits just the Garmin one does. Unlike some of the cheaper covers, water does not penetrate. We have both a Garmin and Tusita and its extremely comparable.
