> 3 dayDaktari Obenga has done our ancestors proud with his very detailed gatherings and translations of the sheer brilliance of the ancient Egyptians. Obenga has taken a methodological approach to uncovering the philosophy we most often attribute to the West as having its genesis in Egyptian philosophical thought. He shows how some have tried to discount Egyptian philosophy as little more than potions, sayings and the like. Moreover, a closer read of the Book of Coming Forth...(Book of the Dead, colloquial) demonstrates the depth of the thought process of our ancestors. If that was not enough, Obenga then goes on to show in his methodological process, the sophisticated medical procedures the ancient Egyptians (as well as black Africa) were capable of operating. In fact, he shows how the Greeks learned from the very methods used by the Egyptians (Papyrus Ebers). Finally, Obenga references several of the papyri in private collections, bought from merchants over the past few centuries, referencing the mathematical capabilities of ancient Egyptians. The Papyrus Rhind, is one in particular which details several problems from calculating the area of a circle in a square with 4 rectangular isosceles to the use of co-tangent to calculate the angles for pyramid building. Overall, a fascinating read. I am thoroughly impressed.

> 3 dayIt works better than the tuner in my TVs and this seems to be true among the TVs I have tried. There is also a USB port to insert a flash drive and record programs. It also plays them and an assortment of other file types. It wont play from my portable 4GB hard drive, but it will play from a flash drive. The flash drive was not recognized when I formatted it with exFAT, I had to try again with FAT32. This device can format a flash drive, but I used my laptop to format it. The quality of the recording is as good as the signal it receives, but I am technically behind the times with my newest TV being ten years old. I have not tried anything above 1080i if there is even a selection that has a greater resolution than that. My vision is failing, so it doesnt matter anyway. It is possible to make a selection from one of the menu items that can render the screen black. If you remember what you did, you can back out of that situation. Where I used to live, there was over a hundred channels although many were not desirable to me since I dont watch infomercials, buy things from the TV, speak Spanish or Korean. For clarification, you can watch one channel or record one channel at a time with this device. It can pass the antennas signal to your TV if the TV tuner works well enough. I had three of these recording programs while I watched a forth channel. This quickly got out of hand, because I dont watch much that much TV anyway or I would consider cable or satellite.
