Useful when camping and eating out of doors or picnicking. They seam to run fairly long in batteries and are simple to use.

Out of the box it looks cheap novelty toy. However, it appears to discourage flies from the immediate area. Whether its form the hologram reflectors on the blades of just the fact the blades are spinning, it does appear to be effective...

Purchased these after reading several reviews from users claiming how effective this product is. I even read a review from a person from Texas again claiming effectiveness of this devices. I had a pool party and i explained my guest that no flies will be present on the salad bar, while I was bragging about my fly fans, one of the guest pointed at two flies on top of the lettuce. What an embarrassment. Its so inexpensive that i didnt have the heart to waste fuel in returning it.

Worked perfectly for our daughters birthday party. We had an outdoor BBQ and didnt have to worry about flies hovering over the food. Even had some people ask where we got them so they could purchase for their upcoming event.

I bought these based on a conversion I had with a neighbor who said they really work. Im a skeptic and Im glad to be proven wrong with this! They do work. We had a 6 table loaded with food for a cookout and set up these 3 fans. They managed to keep any flies and/or bees from landing on the food. This is worth the money spent!

I can’t stand flies on my patio. I tried the old fashion fly paper but didn’t notice a difference. I had no idea fly fans existed. I had no idea what I was missing! This was a great buy, 3 for the price of what others charge for 1 or 2. They expand so you can adjust the height. They are light weight but don’t tip over. The blades are harmless so they don’t hurt curious pets.

The fan works as you would expect: It helps keep flies away from food.

I first seen these things on TV and thought they would be a great alternative to harsh chemicals. We eat outside a lot & live in a hot climate so naturally we attract flies as soon as I place food down on the table. These things are great, they do work and you still have easy access to your food. Not like the food net covers you can buy. They take x2 AA batteries and you only put them on when you need to so Im hoping the batteries last. If you eat outside & have flies - get this!

Im not sure how it works, but it does! We used them outdoors where food was being served. The reason I purchased them was because last time we ate outdoors, we spent more time swatting at flies. Not a fly in site of where these fans were spinning. If I had to put a con to this product, it would be that you do have to keep the area clear because the fans stop if they hit something. Overall great product and I would recommend and buy again!

Definitely a great buy, we have many outdoor gatherings and these come in handy to help keep the flies away especially for the kids who tend to leave their food on the table to play. Intend to use them for many years and will buy again if needed.
