It has a hold option but it doesnt tell you how to do it. There was no instructions stating the functions of this particular thermometer.

Great digital thermometer probe folds up for better storing in tool bag you dont have to worry about snapping the probe like the old style type.

No waterproof

It’s temp isn’t as accurate as I would have liked and needs time to arrive at a known temp. I’ve checked all ranges like a freezer at 0, refrigerator at 33, and hvac lines. When doing delta t it’s good. For an accurate number it is ok around 70-80 deg it’s within 2 deg...so it’s about where it’s spec says.

Not pleased with the battery life. Or kind of battery I have to change.
