Came on time, great value and works really well. LOTS of tape.

The first 2 rolls I used of this were fine. The 3rd roll is going in the garbage. No matter what I do it tears when pulling from the roll. Ive tried it manually and also on a tape gun. Its just thin and crap and wont come off the roll without tearing down the middle making it impossible to find the end again and starting over. I will not purchase this again, learned my lesson. What a waste.

I wasnt sure what to expect since it seemed to be twice the amount of tape at 110yds per roll than most other rolls I viewed. Im using on moving/packing boxes for storage and I prefer this over the brown packaging tape from you-haul which was a pain to use in the tapegun due to the you-haul tape thickness. Id say the diameter of uline tape roll is about the same as the brown stuff even though its twice as long. Since each roll comes out to cost 1/2 of the packaging store and its also twice as long, I guess its a 4x better deal? Would definitely buy again.

Needed a few rolls of S-423 for an upcoming move, but not the 18 minimum qty from Uline. Was a little hesitant to buy from a reseller, due to reviews from others having gotten old stock, but these rolls look and perform like new. A lot of people complain that its thin (2mil vs 3+mil with other tapes) but the thicker a tape is, the less conformable it is to a surface, and the more difficult it is to get full adhesion on anything but perfectly flat, fully supported items. When it comes to packing and taping boxes, this stuff is miles ahead of Scotch Heavy Duty shipping tape, which had been my go-to until I came across some S-423 at work. It does have a strong, vinegar like smell as it comes off the roll, but it goes away almost instantly. I honestly dont mind it, but I can see it being off-putting for a lot of people.
